Stan M. Sauerwein, CPA
Stan is one of the founding partners of Olson, Reyes & Sauerwein. He is a 1979 graduate of Ball State University and has practiced in Denver, since 1980.

Stan’s concentration is audit and accounting and consulting, with a specialization on the manufacturing, retail, real estate and professional service industries.

Scott L. Olson, CPA
Scott is one of the founding partners of Olson, Reyes & Sauerwein. He is a 1979 graduate of Luther College and has practiced in Denver since 1981.

Scott’s concentration is in business and financial advice, income tax planning and preparation, and IRS representation and negotiation.

Jeffery C. Reyes, CPA
Jeff received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Colorado Christian University and has practiced in Denver since 1997.

Jeff has concentrated his audit practice on the financial services, construction and real estate industries. He is in charge of the firms’ systems department and has extensive tax preparation and planning experience for both individuals and businesses.

Michael L. Woodward, CPA
Mike joined the firm in 2007 as a staff accountant. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois State University. Mike has extensive experience in implementing QuickBooks accounting systems for our small business clients as well as preparing complex income tax returns.

Garrin M. Sauerwein
Garrin is a graduate of Colorado State University and in public practice since 2007 when he joined the firm co-founded by his father, Stan Sauerwein. Garrin has experience in taxation, financial reporting and auditing.

Jay K. Dahl, CPA
Jay joined the firm in 2008 as a manager in the tax service area. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Accounting from the University of Michigan. Jay has over 25 years of experience spanning both private and public practice.

David J. Kohlway, CPA, MBA
Dave was a partner in the CPA firm of McEwen, Hammel & Kohlwey which merged its practice into ORS in 2008. He has over thirty years of experience in accounting, taxation, management advisory services and peer reviews of CPA firms. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Colorado.

William H. Hammel, CPA
Bill was a partner in the firm of McEwen, Hammel & Kohlwey which merged its practice into ORS in 2008. He has over thirty-five years of experience in accounting, tax and management advisory matters. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Kansas State University.

David C. Gallo
David joined ORS in 2008 as a senior accountant. Prior to joining the firm David worked for a large firm in Tampa, FL. He has a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Florida.

Amy L. Braford, CPA
Amy joined the firm in 2008 as a tax manager. Amy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, a Masters Degrees in Business Administration and Management for Boston University, a Masters in Accounting from the University of Colorado and a Masters in Taxation from the University of Denver. Amy has extensive experience is accounting and tax issues related to closely held business, real estate transactions and not-for-profit entities.

Robert A. Stoldt
Bob joined ORS in 2000 as a staff accountant. He grew up in Nebraska and is a graduate of the University of Nebraska. His extensive experience as a bookkeeper/controller in the small and medium sized business environment makes him a valuable asset to our firm and our clients.
